TradiePro ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by Sydney Waterproofing Services Pty Ltd (ABN available on request), located at Factory 29/6 Abbott Road, Seven Hills NSW 2147, Australia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the TradiePro mobile application and web platform.

3a. AI Plan Analysis — what happens to your documents

The Plan Analyser is an optional feature. It only ever processes files you deliberately upload to it. If you never use it, nothing described in this section applies to you.

When you upload a plan or photo to the Plan Analyser, that file is sent to Google's Gemini API so the content can be read and the relevant areas, materials and standards extracted. The file leaves our servers and is processed on Google's infrastructure, which is located outside Australia.

Please read this before uploading: we currently use the free tier of the Gemini API. On that tier, Google states that content submitted to the service may be used by Google to improve their products, including training their models. This applies to whatever appears in the documents you upload — which may include your client's name, their address, and the layout of their property.

What this means in practice:

We keep a record of each analysis (the date, the trade type, what you asked to be extracted, and the size of the request) so we can measure usage and cost. We do not retain a copy of the uploaded file after the analysis is returned.

If we move to a paid tier of this service, on which submitted content is not used for product improvement, we will update this policy and tell you.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers, which are located in the United States and subject to Google's security standards. We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and close your account, we will delete your personal data within 90 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal or tax compliance purposes.
